Students, faculty honored at 22nd Annual Awards Ceremony

The Hon. Pamila Brown, J.D. '79, president of the Maryland State Bar Association, was the keynote speaker at the School of Law's 22nd annual Awards Ceremony.

The Hon. Pamila J. Brown, J.D. ’79, president of the Maryland State Bar Association, was the keynote speaker at the School of Law’s 22nd Annual Awards Ceremony on April 10.

The University of Baltimore School of Law held its 22nd Annual Awards Ceremony on Sunday, April 10, 2016, at the John and Frances Angelos Law Center.

The Hon. Pamila J. Brown, J.D. ’79, president of the Maryland State Bar Association, was the keynote speaker. Judge Brown serves on the Howard County District Court.

For the Class of 2016, Jennifer E. Daly is projected to be the valedictorian, while Nicole M. Kozlowski is projected to be the salutatorian. David T. Shafer was the valedictorian of the 2015 graduating class and was the winner of the C. Richard Martin Scholarship Award. Karen A. Smith received the 2015 Nancy Cogliano Strouse Award, which is given to the student in the evening division with the highest GPA in the graduating class. Jessica M. Pilarski, the 2015 salutatorian, received the Scholarly Achievement Award.

Fellowship recipients were also announced, including 1L Greg Waterworth, who received the inaugural Silverman|Thompson|Slutkin|White Fellowship. (See earlier blog post.)
