Professor Daniel Hatcher will speak about his new book, The Poverty Industry: The Exploitation of America’s Most Vulnerable Citizens (NYU Press), at two events this month.
On Wednesday, June 29, Hatcher will give a talk at Busboys and Poets in Washington (2021 14th St., N.W., Washington, D.C. 20009). The event begins at 6:30 p.m.
On Thursday, June 30, Hatcher will speak at Red Emma’s Bookstore Coffeehouse in Baltimore (30 W. North Ave., Baltimore, MD 21201). The event starts at 7:30 p.m.
