Wes Moore is keynote speaker at the first 21-Gun Salute event

The Maryland Center for Veterans Education and Training held its first 21-Gun Salute celebration on Nov. 7, 2016. Wes Moore was the keynote speaker.

Moore, a Baltimore resident, is a decorated Army combat veteran, a best-selling author and the host of WYPR-FM’s “Future City” program.

Professor Hugh McClean, director of UB’s Bob Parsons Veterans Advocacy Clinic, spoke about the clinic’s work with Baltimore City’s Veterans Treatment Docket.

The event was held at the 1840s Ballroom in Baltimore.
