Joseph F. Pippen Jr., J.D. ’75, practices law in the Tampa Bay area but is perhaps best known on Florida’s west coast as a radio personality. His show, “Ask an Attorney All About Florida Law,” has aired on several stations for 32 years. According to Pippen, it is the longest-continually-running radio show in the state.
In a recent feature story about Pippen in The Observer News and The SCC Observer, he says that in the 1980s his show, then nationally syndicated, was carried by 39 stations and heard in 82 cities.
Pippen, 70, whose law practice, the Law Offices of Joseph F. Pippen, Jr. & Associates, has offices in nine Florida counties, says he likes doing a radio show that allows people of all ages to call in with questions.
“I’ve had callers as young as high school students asking legal questions about entry into their lockers,” Pippen said in the newspaper article.
Pippen, a native of Richmond, Va., specializes in estate planning.
