On Tuesday, Nov. 27, the School of Law will once again participate in Giving Tuesday, the national one-day giving campaign following Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Every gift, big or small, makes a huge impact on the lives of our students and our community.
This event is an opportunity to support the School of Law’s Clinical Program.
Our 13 clinics annually provide nearly 200 student-attorneys the opportunity to practicelaw under the supervision of faculty and clinical fellows. This provides them with unmatched, real-life practical experience, while also generating significant results that benefit the entire Baltimore region.
In fact, UB represent about 450 low-income clients each year, including adults, children, neighborhood associations and other nonprofit organizations.
Funds raised to support the School of Law’s Clinical Program support critical needs associated with running a law firm like depositions, expert witnesses, and translators.
